Another Anniversary
It's been kind of a reflective last few days for me. Some interesting anniversaries have been on my mind.
Last year on Mother's Day weekend, Lindsay and I flew to Wisconsin to try to find a home in Mt. Horeb. Last year on the weekend the Church remembers Jesus' ascension into heaven I preached my last sermon at my previous congregation.
So as both of those important days have come and gone within the last week, it's been an opportunity to think a little bit about all that's happened during the past year. It's been an interesting year. It hasn't always been easy. But these opportunities for reflection have led me to a couple of conclusions. Neither is anything groundbreaking or revolutionary. But both are worth remembering.
