RLC Clothing Closet Closed

RLC Clothing Closet Closed

As many of you know, Resurrection started “RLC Clothing Closet” years ago, which was formed to give free clothing to families in need, and Becky Deegan volunteered to manage this ministry and to store clothing in her basement.

Becky has discontinued this outreach effort for these reasons:

1) many communities, especially Verona, have many other resources, such as the Badger Prairie Needs Network (RLC has tag-teamed with BPNN many times)

2) space limitations, etc. for clothing, and 3) her time is scarce lately and feels her time would be better spent serving in other ways. Becky wants to thank all of the service-hearted and generous people who donated clothing, clothing racks, hangers, delivered clothing, etc.

All of the clothing and other items that were donated to this cause have been given to Family Promise in Monroe—this organization aides homeless families by working with area churches to provide meals and a place to sleep, clothing, counseling, assistance with getting jobs, etc.  Please pray that the intention of showing God’s love through giving was successful and that we continue to use the gifts God has blessed us with.

Notes: We want to thank Becky for her efforts and the wonderful ministry she has provided!
