You have probably heard of the C18 effort—a synodwide campaign to reach one million souls with the gospel prior to and on Christmas Eve. The only way that will happen is if the 360,000-member army of saints within WELS is mobilized. That is a major goal of C18—equipping people, young and old, to reach out to unchurched friends, family, neighbors, and acquaintances.
It will only be possible to mobilize 360,000 people if called workers provide the needed leadership and encouragement. One simple way is to ask WELS members to sign up to receive weekly C18 updates....
