Pastor Tom Trapp

Many of you may know the following news by now, but we wanted to inform you that Pastor Tom Trapp went to heaven on the evening of Tuesday, March 12th. He suffered a hemorrhage on the left side of his brain on Sunday, March 10th, and was taken to the hospital shortly afterwards after becoming non-responsive. He was surrounded by his family and friends, who have been reading Scriptures, singing hymns, praying and sharing memories since Sunday.

Thank you for all the prayers, calls, texts, and emails of encouragement and support. We are constantly reminded of these words from Jesus: “I am the resurrection and the life, whoever believes in me will live, even though he dies, and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.” What a comfort that we have faith in Jesus, the resurrection and the life!

Saturday, March 30th

Visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Eastside Lutheran Church
Funeral worship service at 11:00 a.m. at Eastside Lutheran Church (lunch after the service)
