Member of the Week -- Steve Cate

Steve Cate

Steve is a fun, laid back guy who is hard to miss at RLC. He and his family have been at RLC since the beginning and helped to establish the congregation. Steve has grown up in Belleville and graduated from Belleville High School in 2006. For college, he attended UW Platteville to get a degree in manufacturing technology, with a minor in metals processing. Now he is very busy as the machine shop manager at his family’s business, Cate Machine and Welding, a mainstay in Belleville.

When Steve does have some time off, he loves being around people and spending time with his friends. An outdoorsman who loves an active life, he especially likes fishing and hunting, regularly going up north with friends and family. He also likes biking, jogging, and working out. He just started winemaking with his brother at their home, even welding together some of the equipment themselves! He is finishing up two years as outreach chair and loves talking to his friends about RLC.

Ken Notes: A pretty cool family all around. Steve also works hard as Outreach Chair on the Council as well.
