The church council held its regular meeting on February 18, 2014. Here are some highlights.Jared and Melissa Burke and son Ryan, along with Paul and Krista Murphy and their children, Mitchell, Tyler and Brooklyn were granted transfer to Good News Lutheran Church in Mt. Horeb. We wish them God's blessings in continuing our outreach work there.
Richard and Kay Homan were welcomed into membership by transfer from Our Savior's in Madison, an ELS congregation.
Randy and Sonya Huebner, and their children Ben and Rachel were welcomed by transfer from Our Redeemer in Madison.
Alex Pudlo was welcomed by transfer from Zion in Van Dyne.
Formal welcomes during worship are still being planned for these new members. Thank God and welcome our new members!
The
council discussed the Big, Audacious Goals for 2014. Tops on the list
were utilizing our facility more for outreach activities, maximizing the
prek enrollment (22 students in 4K and 10 in 3K) and fully funding the
congregational ministry plan. Information encouraging every member to
